How to use

  1. Choose an image from your device.
  2. Set dimensions, units, DPI, and format.
  3. Resize, verify pixels, and download.

Worked example

For an 85 mm single-column figure at 300 DPI, set width to 85 mm and choose 300 DPI. The preview reports the resulting pixel dimensions; keep aspect ratio enabled unless the journal requires an exact height.

About and limitations

The 85 mm and 180 mm presets are typical starting values, not journal requirements; always check the target journal. Input is capped at 25 MB and output at 80 megapixels. Browser canvas resampling may soften line art, JPEG is lossy, and increasing dimensions cannot create missing detail. Very large images may exceed device memory. See methods.
